As an Events Assistant in the operations team you will support the team in the delivery of a series of events taking place in the Autumn. You will directly report to the Operations Director and liaise with internal teams across the company to help deliver results. The role will involve high levels of organisation and communication with clients and suppliers to ensure that all parties have a successful event.
Key responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Providing administrative support for the exhibition organisers with their portfolio of exhibitions
- Processing booking forms accurately
- Reconciliations between internal systems
- Creating, printing, collating and editing onsite exhibition materials
- Chasing information via email and telephone
- Sending out and following up email-shots (welcome letters, furniture chases, form cases, etc.)
- Updating floor-plans where necessary
- Providing a polite, effective and efficient service when dealing with clients and suppliers
- Helping the Organiser to update the online exhibitor guides when necessary
- Assisting with reconciliations between floor-plans and the database

- Highly organised
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong ability to prioritise and multi-task
- An analytical and logical approach to tasks
- Good telephone manner
- ‘Can do’ attitude with a willingness to get involved and learn
